I'd say that the GT350 gang also has a Porsche 911.

I bought my first Mustang in 1989 with this car:

I can't believe it was 30 years ago. The OTD price was $11K with dropping the luxury stuff. My first Porsche was a 1996 Porsche 911 (a 993--the last of the air-cooled 911's). It was a no option car but with A/C.

My first car was to be a 1989 LX 5.0 but my summer job to pay the difference between the plain LX and the LX 5.0 fell through. So I ended up with a 4 banger LX notch back. As a 17 year old kid I was more than bummed but I had a Mustang albeit in name only. LOL

My first car was a 1971 and had a 7.4 liter... I was 16 years old and Dad said even one ticket and he sells the car; the car that I paid for, not him!
Any guesses as to what it was?

Back to the topic of this thread... I don't see these two as a reasonable comparison due to the price difference.
My Shelby and my Cayman are very closely matched price wise, and the specs are also fairly close as well... but that comparison has already been done. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading any comparisons when it comes to cars. Let's face it, don't most of jump to the section of the article that has the tabular data for the comparison results?

It was hard to make living back then. Today, we are what hard work can do for a dude.

We all did well while worrying if we were good enough to get the job done.

It turns out that we did really well. It will never be easy to anyone, but It's easier today than before.

Was it a Chevelle? Mine was a 1970 Cadillac coup de ville with a 500ci gas sucker.
