Where you able to test drive the GT350 before you bought it? I'm seriously considering buying a used one, since my GT is almost paid off and such a reliable daily I don't want to tune it and fuck it up

I hadn’t seen one in person before I bought mine, but I don’t recommend that...so yes, test drive it.

Yes, and absolutely insist on it. But be warned, you will be sold. Don't ask me how I know . . .

My dealer was not going to let me test drive the Msrp R, there were 80 people behind me waiting to write a check before driving. It worked out though

Just test drove a 2019 GT350 today for the very first time and was awesome. I’m in a different situation I have a GT500 on order and dealer has agreed to let me drive it when it comes in and I can make up my mind if I choose the 350 or 500.

That's a tough choice... Id personally get the GT350. As good as the 500 is theres just something special about the 350. Plus not having the awesome tremec 6 speed is a deal breaker for me lol

I do love how the 500 looks though tough choice for sure

Man it is the hardest decision for me. I’ve went back and forth so much. If the 500 was manual I’d have no doubts. The 350 was plenty power for me. I only got to drive about 5 miles but it was great.

I can't afford a GT500, so i don't even entertain the thought but:

I traded a 19 GT A10 with 3.55s, because the Tremec 6 and the Voodoo is THAT intoxicating.

That sound was something else. I didn’t get above 4K rpms but it was great

Yeah, and the Voodoo doesn't even wake up until the other side 4000, and then again after 6000.

You really need to re-calibrate how you drive a V8 with a stick. It's that different.

I’d recommend getting above 4K RPM’s before you make your decision...

Dealership didn’t want me going above that. The car had 9 miles on it.
