Pretty much is.
I have wanted a 65 fastback for years. Found this car in upstate New York. Was taken off the road in mid 70’s and sat since. After I bought it and applied for a title, I found I now have the first ever title issued to the car. NY didn’t issue titles till the ca ever had a title. That’s pretty damn freaking impressive my man! Wow.... I mean that’s IMPRESSIVE from the starting pics to it’s current condition! You don’t see too many DIY restos like that...
Was the Mustang in the family, or did you just pick up for a very good price and decided to restore?
So are you also a member of VMF?
Yes, I’m a member over on VMF too.I have wanted a 65 fastback for years. Found this car in upstate New York. Was taken off the road in mid 70’s and sat since. I’m t good enough to do the sheet metal work, so I have a guy in NH pick it up and do the sheet metal work.
I’m a member over on VMF but haven’t posted there for years.
After doing many coyote and 03 cobra swaps on fox bodies and my 94 cobra, I decided it was time to do a swap on a 65 and make a dream car for me.
Oh my. I remember you over on corral. Def small world. The guy who did the 5.0 mag article on my 94 owns it now. I told him if he ever sells it, I want it back. I miss that car.Yes, I’m a member over on VMF too.
Geez... it just freaking clicked - your user ID!!! THAT is where I know you from... Corral.net! LOL! You had the 94 and did the Termi swap and that was prob one of the first of its kind too (back then). You also started a thread for trying to get other 94 Cobra owners signed up (the 94 Cobra Registry) and I posted some tech in there to assist (I’m Cobra Jet NJ over there, w/ a shit ton of tech on that site).
Damn small world...lmao.
So do you have a build thread for this 65 anywhere, def gonna follow it, because your 94 swap was great. I know you eventually sold off the 94 Termi, but is that car still around?
