I am. No offense intended. Just imagining the trouble from asking the little lady to drive 74 miles and the doors being locked. I imagine she would have been a bit upset.

You do know the old "key-fob to the head" trick, right? It does work.
I've been in my building at work, and thought I might have left the car unlocked, so I just went to my phone, brought up the app, and locked the car. Easier than walking out to the garage to double check. Not a big deal, but it's free, so why not use it?

You're right. Just never had the need.

We've all sat there trying to remember if we locked the car, turned off the oven, turned off the lights, turned off the iron.

I do. Like a friggin' boss!!!!

And let's be honest, fordpass is another automotive toy you can play with. Bored at work? You can check in on your car and make sure everything's o.k.

Yes, I'll admit that a big part of the appeal to me is just the way it works. I've been traveling and was thousands of miles away, and it's nice to be able to check in from time to time and see that it's still parked where I left it (i.e., not stolen), and one time I unlocked it so my girlfriend could check something for me while she was at my house, but the biggest appeal is probably that it's just cool to know that I could do those things, more than really using it.

So I can look up where my car is no matter where I'm at?
Can I roll up my windows from my phone
I like the security notification.

Have Fordpass on my new 2019 Ranger and I like it a lot. You can check oil life remaining, tire pressure, get your vin if you need it in a hurry and as everyone else has said lock your doors, start your car and also set a time that you want your car to start.

You can see where the car is, but you can't roll up the windows.

As far as I know, you can see:

Fuel level/Distance to empty
Vehicle Location
Tire pressure
Oil life
Vehicle hotspot (listed even though I don't have that)
Scheduled starts
Other miscellaneous info (VIN, license plate if entered, etc.)

It can also be locked, unlocked and started, as previously discussed.

I don’t use my app a lot, but I do use it and find it useful. I think here in Canada the service is included for 5 years, after that there is a charge. Will I pay it? It will depend how it is.

I’m psyched they are making it free. I use it more often than I thought I would on my 19 GT and it actually works the way it should which is rare for this stuff,

I did get a bunch of points on my Ford account by activating Ford Pass.

I personally love the app and use it to make sure I locked my doors, especially if I’m out of range for the key fob to work.
The thing that always confused me about this is that the app really gives no visual indication of whether the doors are locked or not. If I get inside and think I forgot to lock up and I hit the lock button in the app will it unlock if it was already locked?

I'm pretty sure lock means lock, it's not a toggle. Easy enough to check, I guess, but I'm not going to do it right now :)
