i confess i thought iconic silver was pretty boring when i first saw it a while back but it is for sure growing on me. nice find @JR369 .

I had to see it in person. Besides it was a good opportunity to stretch out JR369 for a couple hundred miles. I really like the Iconic Silver in person. I'd probably wrap the roof black and that's it.

Not to specifically see that car. It was just on my way to nowhere in particular. I just go for drives once in awhile to get out of the city.

I managed $4600 off MSRP on the 2019 R I took delivery of yesterday. So the deals are out there. I'm Texas where a lot of deals seem to be had.

I know of a dealer in North Texas that has a 19 R that I had him down to 67000 +ttl FPB, white stripe, carbon IP car. PM if you want the dealer details.

Gilboy Ford located in PA. Sales manager said he’ll do 61- (sounded like there was a little more wiggle room- car has 6 miles on it 2019- only thing holding me back is the upgraded seats- I want the recaros

FWIW I have the upgraded seats in my 19 & my brother in law the recaros in his 17. I also did track attack trying the buckets (torture to get in & out of) and the recaros. I find my upgraded seats have a lot more bolstering support than it might have seemed and similar alcatera inserts for not sliding around. I also like the leather. It didn't seem like a big compromise given I was spending for the handling pkg (installed) and obviously we have the SC2's that are more track than street practical. As offered by Ford Performance it's a broad array of features & options that straddle street & track. So though everyone's body and driving needs are different (I'm 6' and passed middle aged with back problems) but I could otherwise see doing an occasional track day without feeling disadvantaged in my upgraded seats and otherwise enjoy the leather and active venting those other 99% of the times driving spirited or cruising on street. Even the upgraded seats require me to do a slight bit of contorting to get past the side bolstering on exit & entrance even if I let the seats retract automatically (only recently started letting it do that). Not as ready for a 4 pt harness installation but is that what you're going for? The car seems a good price & fun colors. Hate that they tramp stamped the dealer name on the tail end...how dare they take credit for being middle men ;-). Of course its late in season for buying one of these so the price should be reflecting that. Mine gets put away Saturday for 5 months <sad>.

Thanks for the imput mrbillwot! Honestly I hate to say this but I’m most likely never going to track the car- my mystic I owned for 8 years I’m lucky if I put 1200 miles on the car- I’m more of a car show and detail guy- but to each there own! The recaro seats is more of look thing for me than anything- but your right as far as the price/end of the year deal the price is pretty good, might be better if I was serious to make an offer...... we’ll see what happens so undecided
