I've had mine fall out of my pocket between the middle console and driver seat and couldn't find it knowing it was there for about 5 minutes... my money is that it's between that console and seat somewhere. Not sure where else it could be that wasn't already mentioned.

Look by the base of the windshield and the dashboard-key may have slipped into a defroster vent after someone left the key on the dashboard. Failing that-go to an electronics store that sells a transmitter detector, Then start from the back seat and come forward and hope for a "hit" from the detector.
