Anyone ever go out and buy wheels (mounted to tires) and just bring them home in the mustang? Will 4 wheels fit in the backseat / trunk no problem? Never actually tried it, and I wouldn't want to go drive somewhere and not even be able to transport wheels back home.

The reason i ask is because I recently bought an office chair and i had to force the big box into the trunk. That opening is so small. I was almost tempted to toss the box and fit everything in my trunk without it. But I somehow managed to just force it in.

I've never had this issue before because I've driven hatchbacks in the past. This is my first coupe haha.

You will have to fold the year seats down but yes they will fit.

With rear seats folded, I got three in the back and one on the passenger seat. I might have been able to get all 4 in the back, but I was only going about 3 miles, so not worth the effort.

With the seats up I've gotten 5 255's in the car. 1 in the wheel well (it lifts the trunk liner), 2 in the trunk, 2 on the grocery shelf.
What's a grocery shelf?

Any of you guys that got them all to fit have the subwoofer in the trunk?

Not the most practical vehicle for transporting wheels, but here’s how I’ve done it:

1) put a blanket over the rear seat
2) passenger seat all the way forward

(3)19” tires will fit across the back seat in an upright position

The 4th will lay flat in the trunk

OR

1 tire on passenger seat
2 tires upright on back seat
1 tire in trunk

Either way, you can definitely transport (4) 19 or 20’s in a S550.:like:

OP, let us know what town you're in so maybe a forum member with a pickup truck would help you out.

You can get a feeling how 4 massive 16" 205/55/16 fits :D

@4:13 into the video, I just remembered that I edited some parts out
I could have fitted 6x16 I believe

Yes, everyone will want to mention what tire size you are fitting into your trunk. 235s will fit but a 305 would not.
