I have a 2016 Roush/FR supercharger and I would like to bring out all the possible horsepower on 93 octane.
I always thought heads and cams but that may cost more than it's worth. I see everyone going to E85 which is difficult to obtain where I'm at right now.
Thanks

You have a couple of options....you are limited on how much power you can make because of fuel...period. Heads and cams will definitely show gains but like you said is it worth the money? Other option to go fast is to lighten up the car....shed some weight is as good as adding power.

What mods are on the car now? Help us help you.

Short list:
Pulley down
Methanol injection
Full exhaust
Ported blower (does anyone even do that anymore?)
Bigger throttle body
Bigger heat exchanger
Cams
More rpm

You're going to need methanol/water injection if you really want to squeeze everything out of 93.

My 17 with Roush Phase 2 on 93 is at 680/545 at the wheel.

Roush Phase 2
VMP Tune
VMP 79mm Pulley
FIC1000 Injectors
Pmas 120mm Intake
VMP Twin 67mm Throttle Body
Reische 170 Degree Thermostat
VMP Triple Pass Heat Exchanger

Upper 600’s to low 700’s is about max hp you will see on 93, don’t know what you’ll see on 91.

You can always add Boostane to the 91 to get the octane up.

@hossman How many points does Boostane add to a tank of 93 octane?

Would a gen 3 supercharger help?
Does someone make an elbow that provides better flow for the TVS?
Is there a monoblade that works on the TVS blower and tunable?
Or just buy a gen 3 because it will have a better elbow and TB?

There is a mixing chart on the bottle or app to tell you how much Boostane to add to get to whatever octane level your looking for. For instance when I fill up from empty if I want 100 octane it’s a 16 ounce bottle of Boostane Premium mixed with 93 pump gas and I get 100 octane. I add 1 to 2 ounces to my 93 when running my 93 tune just for protection in case of bad gas.

The Gen3 is 25% more efficient and makes more power with less boost. I’m actually considering swapping my Roush head unit out for a Gen3.

Monoblades make more power but the Street drivability goes out the window. The Twin 67 or Twin 69 is the way to go.

$3500 for just the head unit. For $800 more the R; don't know if it is worth the extra $800
I guess the gen3 would leave room for growth. I would try and sell my current S/C to recoop some money but who would want just the head unit of an older gen S/C.

Meth injection let me consistently add 3psi and 3 degrees of timing while running 93

I guess I should stay away from cost effective- LOL

I had an 03 Mustang Cobra with a monoblade and it ran and idled great, I wonder what happened to the tunability between then and now?

I run 93 octane with a small bottle of boostane with each fill up to make 96ish octane. I see about 13 psi and 22.5 degrees timing from my palm beach dyno tune. Best 1/4 time 10.61 @ 134.78 mph with 4120 lb race weight.

Port the lower intake, port the Blower, add a VMP monoblade TB and elbow with a big JLT intake. I bet you could get 750rwhp out of it.
