Yeah by time I started adding the required features the price of the "base GT" started going up. pretty quickly.. I wanted Sync3, handling package, PP1.. apples to apples I was fine with the EB (and not trying to explain extra $$ to my wife).
Yeah, $46,470 for the GT. If you’re happy with the sound, you have a lighter car with lower gas and insurance costs. And a happy wife. Sounds like a win, win, win to me.

yup, I doub't you'd be able to negotiate a 2020 GT similarly built for 35K, unless you did go for a '19, maybe 37K?
But hey, just enjoy it lol
I wanted Twister orange so a 19 was out.. unless they would repaint one Competition Orange..

If you haven’t decided on tires yet I’d would like to recommend the Michelin PS A/S 3+. Had them on my 15’ EB. Perfect for NJ winters.
Those are the exact tires I have settled on after reading way to many tire reviews and based on the fact that I wont be driving in snow, but wont be avoiding it either. Of course I'll have to do a few parking lot donuts in the snow "just to get a good feel" for the car :like:

WOOHOO... Make sure to post some pictures when you get your new baby.
So I picked it up last night and it's great! It's a GT Premium manual trans in Kona blue with the 401A package (love the dash), PP1, active exhaust, and the B&O stereo. It was dark when I picked it up so I took these shots this morning. Although I have only put about 25 miles on it so far it's really fun to drive and I love the rev matching on down shifts...

Thats pretty!

Rev matching is one feature I wish they offered on the EBHPP.

I am looking at the ecoboost to replace the 05 focus (I love the car, but the legroom offered by the stang is... desirable). To that end, I am confused as to why revmatching was not offered for the HPP. I know that some GT owners don't like the feature, but for the turbo charged engine, this seems like a no-brainer.

Looking forward to your reviews as I am deciding if I should grab the 2020 HPP next summer or just grab a used 2019 and let PBD do their 2.4k job on it.

@jake1164 Awesome machine, congrats!! Did you check if 0-60mph is mid 4's? I'm really curious about the different between the 2020 base EB and this HPP model. Also is suppose that 2019 GT is under 5's so it should be similar.

Play3r0, the GT with the A10 with do 0-60 in under 4 not 5. There are two massive threads discussing the HPP and the Handling Package. Check them out. Here’s one of them.

My fault, I was thinking in the European fastback model:

EB MT: 6.4s
GT MT: 4.9s
GT AT: 4.6s

We have some engine restrictions by the new pollution rules. EB has lost some power. MY2020 has "only" 270hp.

A tune should take care of that!
