Weekend/cruise in car, comfort items not a biggie. Something that looks good under the shed while I'm drinking lemonade
Based on this, maybe a GT500 is a better fit. I would go for a GT500 over a blown GT - especially used - because the GT500 will hold its value.

Boss 302. Bad ass purpose built car and it will continue to hold value. Screaming NA power is hard to beat.
Lot's of low mile Boss 302's out there. Here is a 2012 with 11,617 on the clock. 32,590.00

Where can you get a base 18 + supercharger for $30k? The base '18 for $30k, sure...but even Beef's budget $5500 dealy...who's got an '18 for $25k? Or is $30k, meaning $39,999?
I've seen base 17/18 for around 21k. I saw a brand new one for under 30k
Buy a used GT spend 8-9 K on installing/tuning supercharget

Using the added power from the supercharger would be pretty hard without other mods. Which would be more $$. Something like the Boss 302 and the 2014 Shelby are desirable cars that will hold their value. People have had them parked hoping to make a fortune off of them. Now you can pick up lots of low mile cars in excellent condition. Those cars are complete turn key. I suggest you drive one of each before deciding.

I forgot the price, but there’s a ‘12 Laguna Seca car for sale local to me with 700 miles on it. Just picked up a super clean, bone stock ‘12 GT for me and my son to tinker with, otherwise that sucker would me m-i-n-e! Stupid kids, ruin everything, LOL.

13-14 GT500 or Boss. The rear end looks better with the 13-14 taillights. But maybe I'm a little bias. :cwl:

I had ruled out used GT with blower but wanting to make sure it wasn't a good choice. Personal I'm leaning toward Shelby just because its a "Shelby", but liking Boss more and more

Well my wife "put a hole in my bucket". She talked me into a new California Special for the both of us to use on date nights. Oh well.....

The CS will still be fun.

As for me, I've got a serious case of Boss lust on my hands as of this weekend. The local collector car emporium just got a mint, low mile, yellow '13 Laguna Seca that's screaming my name. The only reason I haven't gone backward to S197 is the color (I'd prefer the black) and the difference in their asking price and my trade wants. Sooooo tempting.....

The CS is fun, I got my wife one for our anniversary this year. Not a race car but a fun sporty vert. You may as well buy it, the Boss lust is only controlled by one thing. Having a Boss. The yellow LS are actually very uncommon, only 250 built in '13.
