I added this from a 2020 EcoBoost, what do you all think?

Just my opinion, though. If you like it, that's all that matters. I do think it would look better on the fender. I'm a minimalist, however, so my strategy was to install a plain grille and eliminate the front pony.

I'd black out the pony so that it doesn't look too cluttered. I have a badge on my car too and blacked out the pony, it looks better IMO.

Doesn’t look terrible, but IMHO it makes the front end look a little off balance.

By the way since I assume you do not have the High Performance Package engine some folks are going to accuse you of ”fake” badging. Not me, of course :giggle:

Nope. distraction, first thing people are going to do- is ask you is it a special model. What you gonna do? Lie or tell them the truth.
No Mustang ever had motor tag in grille, that I can think of.

agree, it looks kinda silly there. plus theres the whole upbadging thing. If you're going to put a badge on the car for something something you dont, you may as well just put a cobra on there insead. If you were to install all the parts to make your car an equivilent (or at least the Ford Performance turbo from the HPP), then maybe you could justify it.

Sometimes LESS is more, I have a 32 ford show car and have won a lot of trophies, like we all do we are always trying in improve the looks and try to add something no one has, well after adding stuff I stopped winning , this went on a while and I asked my show buddy's whats wrong with my car and they let me have it. All that stuff you added makes the car look to busy and you can't see your car for all the junk.
Took all new add-ons off and started winning again, lesson learned, look at your ride be careful don't clutter it up. If you go to local car shows you will see what i'm saying Sometimes less is more

I agree with the above, too busy on the grille.
BUT, maybe if you put it on the lower grill it might not be too bad.

Expensive suggestion, but I'd replace the grill with one that's 'ponyless', and lower the 2.3 badge a few mm. Both is too much.

It looks like someone who's got something stuck in their teeth and everyone can see it.

That emblem on an RTR upper grill would look sweet. With the chrome pony its just too much...but if you like it, that's all that matters.

Not a fan of it but if you like it that’s what matters. maybe if the pony was not there. Just seems too much for the grill area.

this turbo one was my first emblem after i changed the grills but it seemed cheesy so I when with this pony shield and love it. Simple and clean and goes with the look of my car.

Looks out of place. Maybe on the rear lower corner of the black panel would look better? IDK. Or like others have said, without the running pony or blacking out the pony.

Would be good if you added extra HP to support that badge.
