JGC Trackhawk! Hellcat motor, solid AWD,system, decent ground clearance, heck, it even tows ~7000 lbs.If it wasn't for winter fast approaching, I absolutely would already be driving a hellcat.
That Jeep is bad ass. I see you are in TX as well. Maybe our paths will cross one day in person. Here are a few pics of one of my toys as I wait on the GT500! Did a hellcat swap with the addition of the 4.5L Whipple in the 2014 Rubicon Wrangler. Im a big fan of the hellcat! Made 1107hp on the Dyno!
I've thought about it, trust me. The depreciation would be killer though! Unless I get the jeep AND the GT500....JGC Trackhawk! Hellcat motor, solid AWD,system, decent ground clearance, heck, it even tows ~7000 lbs.
Indications I've received from those around me is that, unfortunately, the C7 values are going to tank. A VP here has a friend with a ZR1 (2018, I think), low, low mileage and absolutely clean. He went to a dealer to talk trade on a C8 and was told CDN$88K for the ZR1, which today is about US$66K at the current exchange. With luck, YMMV.The 500 will cool off eventually and I am hoping the ZR1 value holds strong.
c7 values will tank...ZR1 values shouldn’t. A one year run should keep values steady until the next c8 variant arrives with 650+ hp using mid engine. 66k US dollars would lose about $70,000 in less than one year...virtually impossible imo. He probably has a ‘18 z06 which would make more sense. I can’t wait for the GT500....the dct is a big factor for me to switch. The one thing I miss the MOST from my GTR was the dct....incredibly engaging driving experience. 700+hp with a dct and a warranty sounds nice. ZR1 is a monster but the A8 takes a LOT of patience to get used to.Indications I've received from those around me is that, unfortunately, the C7 values are going to tank. You had to know that going in. I remember a review back in 2015. That had the stock GT faster around a track. But who cares if you have no plans to keep it.After putting 1,000 miles on the Hellcat I have learned it's a brute no doubt. I don't get the thrill of driving out of it like I did the GT350 or my 18 A10 that had 495 naturally aspirated HP at the wheel. Just a different feel that I don't enjoy as much as the Mustang.
Not saying it a bore to drive because it is far from that. To me it's not as fun, nimble, and lacks the feel of the Mustang.
Big time! Why the heck do people leave those things on? You would think it is a rental car and were instructed to keep the protectors on. I see this all the time. Please take off the splitter protectors. Please.
I just sold them on eBay for $50. Someone in Colorado will be putting them on his STX soon. LOL.Big time! Why the heck do people leave those things on? You would think it is a rental car and were instructed to keep the protectors on. I see this all the time.
