Any ATV people out there??

I have been an avid offroader since I was 12. It started with a 1968 Benelli Fireball 50cc motorcycle. Have had about 40 different bikes since then. The last 20 yrs. or so have been mostly on ATV's. I have a 2-up CanAm Outlander Max XT 800R in Real Tree Camo. I have the storage box on instead of the rear seat. Could use a new set of tires as you can see.
Very nice quad you have Fordever, I am jealous.

Thank you, for the compliment on my quad!!! I took it out on Saturday for a little ride. It was raining off/on for a couple of days prior to Saturday and there were lots of water filled holes on the trails. Got kinda wet and dirty.... loved it!!

The 1000 was more bike than I was looking for, I was looking for an 850. But the deal was way too good to pass up. So here we are with a BEAST!!!! And no regrets!!!! And you really can’t have too much power, can you?

..... and, yes you do need new rubber. LOL

Well I don't know if I need more power than what a 1000 has to offer. My 800 has a top speed of 75mph and that is plenty enough for this old rider.
Keep the rubber down and have loads of fun. Those tires you have look like mud heaven. Got to get me some

Yeah.... the tires weren’t stock. As well the rims. I think this is gonna be an enjoyable autumn. Lotsa mud and rocky streams in my future.

I noticed in you info you drive a 2018 STX with a 2.7 TT..... I just purchased a 2019 Lariat Crew with a 2.7 TT. I traded a 2013 Ruby FX4 crew for it. I loved the 3.5 and the 2.7 is a great engine IMO.

Yes I traded a 2013 STX 5.0 2wd for the 18 STX 4wd new 2 yrs ago. I was impressed with the TT and A10 combo. Gas mileage improved but only 21mpg compared to 18.5. I just found the off road screen and can't keep my eyes off of it when driving. I bet I know all the degrees of incline and descent for the 125 mile trip I take to the farm each weekend. It even tells me how far from center my front wheels are when turning. Drive power indicated also for each wheel. Probably old tech for most, but for me it's a new gadget to play with. Took me 2 yrs and 24K mi. to know I even had the feature LOL

Just ordered a set of front tires for the CanAm You made feel bad. Not as aggressive as yours, will see how they do and If I like them will get the matching rears.

. Some of the members would meet me in Taylor Park Colorado for guided off road rides.

Great scenery there buddy!!! I live in a very mountainous area.... lots of trails, streams, bog holes, as well as a very good network of atv and snowmobile trails. I should/hope to be able to get/post up some good pics during some of our treks.

Here's a picture of an awsome/challenging switchback ledge. Tellurium Mtn. at about 13,000' elevation. Folks behind me were leery of going any further, but did ever so slowly.

Yeah, we got into a couple of precarious spots yesterday. Almost turned the bike over at one point. Wished I had a Go Pro to record it. Next purchase I guess.

Went for a ride this weekend. Ended up in a place called “The Sinkhole”. Water flows in, goes underground and comes out in a lake several Kms away. Only way down is lowering yourself with the rope, as seen in the video.
