How do you enable drag mode on 2019 mustang gt?

2019 mustang gt 10 speed performance package 1. Base model.
How do I enable drag mode? I’m at 300miles. I can’t find it anywhere when I’m navigating through screen. Is it something that pops up at 1,000 miles?

Base model won't have drive modes (Normal, Sport, Track, Drag, Rain / Snow) Drive modes come with the 301A option (Sync 3) - it's a different front AC / Radio bezel with toggle switches. I added Sync 3 to my '19 Base and activate drive modes. You can buy a complete upgrade kit from several different vendors. Check the Sync 3 swap thread.

I dont think the base A10 has drive modes. Got to get a tune to simulate drag mode from my understanding of everything. I know the base manual pp1 does not have drag mode.

Driving modes aren't "Tunes". I'm sure an aftermarket tuner could likely replicate 'drag' mode on a base car - but like I posted - I added Sync 3 to my base '19 GT 6 speed and now have all drive modes functioning.

Drive modes simply change throttle mapping (more / less sensitive) change active exhaust setting (if you car has active exhaust) change Magneride settings (if your car has it) change steering mode based on drive mode setting and depending on the setting they can also alter normal traction control settings.

It was a bonus for me - the 8" screen + Apple CarPlay is important to me (I upgraded my '17 and already had the components to upgrade the '19) as this is my daily driver.

He has a base gt so no active exhaust or magnaride. Drag mode would just increase throttle response and shift points/ firmness. Same thing a tuner is going to do while tuning your car. No one said drag mode was a tune but yes the problem can be solved with a tune.

Mid level 301A has drag mode, Base 300A does not. It can be added with a tune.

Nope. The 301a package is where it gets the switches. Has nothing to do with pp1
