Haven't been willing to because of the FPC harmonics. The SOB already rattles enough shit apart. Can't even imagine with billet mounts :)

The ports on the back of the heads you connected to each other - how are they connected/routed stock?

You were shredding that heel/toe on 10A and 10B. Awesome work, loved how everyone got out of your way when they saw the bald eagle screeching through the track.

Kevin, are you going to make Daytona this year?
Unfortunately not this year. Spend in the beginning of the year ate too far into the budget for the rest of the year. I'll be there for sure next year, though. And hopefully with a cage.

Thanks! The screaming ARH exhaust does a pretty good job of parting the sea to speak :)

4 Pt or 6 Pt or custom? I had a lightweight group buy going on over in the 500 section. A 50# Cromolly 4 Pt custom manufactured by Watson.

I currently have the basic Watson 4pt, but plan to install road race full cage next summer :)

Just realized I never recapped my COTA track day in July.

This was the first day I tried out the 315 Pirelli DHs. As you can see, they're fairly tall. Bit too tall to be competitvely fast IMHO. The steering is "flexible" and the sidewall feels too balloon-y. The grip is fantastic, but feel was meh for me. Further giving me pause about using them again was the fact that I corded them in (4) sessions. These came from UsedRacingTires.com, but I've since learned from JBRacingTires that he supplies USedRacingTires and they're typically the lower quality. John at JBRacingTires guarantees his tires and will send you a new one if you get a bad one. Might have to give them another shot. hm...

So this event is the one that starts in the day and goes to night. My goals for the day were two-fold:
  1. Push the car hard to see if I could get it to overheat
  2. Shrink the delta between fast laps in the day and fast laps at night (last year I was 5 seconds slower in the night)
With ambient temps at 100*, this was the perfect day to push it as hard as I could. Sessions were 30 mins, so plenty long to really put on the punishment. Second session I went out in 101* ambient temps and dropped the hammer start of lap 2 and ran the car at full tilt for the full remaining ~28mins. Oil temps peaked at 283, CHT reached 241, and diff 312. I was shifting plenty and keeping it high in the RPM range. Last year in the same conditions I hit limp mode. This year I couldn't get to overheat it. Hell yeah

Hot lap from that session

The night session came later. Unfortunately you can't see much because a SmartyCam doesn't have a very good sensor for lowlight conditions and I forgot to grab a GoPro. However, I ran multiple 2:31.xx laps in a row, which was only about 1 second slower than my average day times. That was pretty awesome. Running at night is so much fun.

Here are some great pics from the event

Have you weighed the car? Curious how light you've gotten the car.

I itching to know as well. I'm fairly certain I'm sub 3500lbs, but that's about all I know. It feels lighter than a stock car for sure, but it in no way feels "light" if that makes sense.

I need to find someone with some scales.
