Time to find a shop to help me find out what's the largest tire I can fit in there without any cutting.
Going to have to get 18" wheels since ko2's don't come in 19.
I have it narrowed down to this 18x8 +45mm 6.3"

255/55R18 KO2's which is only 29" in diameter (I'm already at 28.6), because the next size up is a 255/70 which is 32" and I don't think that will fit.

Power-train warranty runs out next spring!

Got in touch with a 6g owner who managed to fit 30” tires (235 wide) and he said it rubs on bumps

I think I just want a small 2” lift for extra ground clearance and so I don’t have to upgrade all the other parts that comes with a lift over 2”

Now the question is how do I go about doing this? Spring spacers? Longer struts? Should I look for an off-road shop or just a simple suspension shop?

I like the look of the rally ones. Straight lifted, not so much.
I would buy the Raptor version if only it was real..

Ok so don’t go any higher than 29” or you’ll rub your spring perch. My 29.2” barely touches the perch by 1mm

Now to find a suspension shop willing to make me a 2” lift which will bring the ground clearance up to 8.7”

If only there were vehicles made that served the purpose of going off the road and clearing obstacles..... There is something about the lifted cars I like but the more I look at them, the more I feel a mullet growing out.

The 2020 GT500 looks lifted on the Ford Build & Price site:

Found a supplier and an experienced local mechanic who has done lifts on different vehicles. Just wish I found all this before buying an entire new set of tires. I probably could have gone bigger than 29.2" tires.

I’m so glad I found this thread. I’m considering going the off-road build route this November. How tall of a tire can you fit under those extended struts? Do you think it’d be possible to get enough clearance to fit a 31-33 inch tire? Can anyone point me in the right direction to find any control arms or anything else I can do to correct the geometry of the suspension after it’s lifted? I’ll be daily driving this so I want it to drive smooth. Any help is greatly appreciated, if this is a feasible build, I’ll order the parts and have it done by Thanksgiving.

You can probably fit up to 30 since my 29" tire has half an inch left before touching the wheel wells, but that's an easy fix.

My greatest concern would be the increased drive shaft and half shaft angles ripping the boots and causing the joints to wear faster, but I'm at a roadblock right now with finding longer brake lines for the extra 3 inches of travel
