I just bought my. 2017 gt so It'll be a while till i can even think about replacing it. I buy used so I'll try to keep up to date on whats coming out now and in a few yeast see where they are priced and how they stand up to some time and miles.

I am thinking hard about replacing the mustang with a 19 f150 standard cab, short box, 2wd, 5.0L. You get the 10spd, solid axle posi rear with 3.31 or 3.55, all aluminum body with a 4,055lb shipping weight, for 28k... I love my mustang, literally a car I daily drive, go to the track, run 10's @ 130+mph on street tires with a stick and averages 20mpg, but I honestly think I can get the F150 faster and I love the idea of going back to a leaf spring suspension....

I have pondered that direction as well. I’ve seen F150 XT’s with the 5.0L/10-speed and the STX sport package like the one below for $25k. It’s a hell of a deal.

Been driving trucks, mostly Fords, since learning on my dad's '50 something back in the mid '60s. Recently drove a '19 Ford, granted a rental, but did not care for how it handled at all. Just saying drive one for a while before making a decision .

As of now a used C7 zo6, C7 grand sport or GT 350. Putting the supercharger on my car has taken the itch away for now, I can't believe I had it for 4.5 years already. Hopefully the new C8/GT500 hurts the used C7/GT 350 markets. My car already took the big hit so time is on my side!
