I think not...
My 20” Foundry wheels look awesome!!
The S550’s design projects a powerful presence on the road and IMHO, these particular wheels not only complement, but strengthen the overall visual impact of the car.

Just like exhaust volume and tone, the choice of wheel selection, be it size or design is a very personal decision...that’s why there are so many choices out there.
Strangely, I find the 20” foundries to really fit the car nicely. They don’t look “too big”.

I like the look of the 20'' but prefer 19" because I like more rubber between me and the road ,don't like the ride on rubber band tires

Lol - if you match OEM diameter of 27ish inches, gap is exactly the same regardless of you wheel size...
I don't know why it's so difficult to understand...
i think its because the wheels dont compress and smoosh like tires do due to gravity so it looks more filled when on the ground.

As someone with 20s that can't pass up an opportunity to share pics, I like mine.

Are you talking about wheel + tire? No argument there

I'm so used to the look of 20" wheels that I can't imagine my car without them. Hell, even my 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 had factory 20's on it.LOL Just in case anyone is wondering...I installed 20mm Eibach spacers with my factory Foundry wheels and with them, you'll get a little poke on the back and just about perfectly flush on the fronts. Tire size and brand will factor into the amount of poke as well.

I think the 20s look fantastic. But I’m a form over function guy. Most of the time. And I talked my wife into changing out the chrome 20s. That she loved. For forged gun metal 17s. That I love because they are lite. And they never look dirty.

What about unsprung weight? Wouldn’t a 20” wheel, on average, weight more than a 19”. So you have more weight that will effect handling and a lower profile tire that could effect ride comfort. Not sure the trade offs are worth it. That said I like the look but..........
