Shogun32,

Those are impressive purchase deals...congratulations to you and your keen negotiating skills. According to your stated buying strategy, I did "overpay": the car's MSRP was $42,625 and I paid a final "Out-The-Door" and "On-The-Road" price of $40K. That is 93.842% of the car's MSRP price of $42,625. Thus, on the low end of your stated buying strategy, I paid 3.842% ($1637.65) too much and on the high end (85%), I paid 8.842% ($3768.90) too much.

I purchased my car from a small-to-medium sized dealership; I prefer to purchase cars from large high volume dealerships, due to their desire to sell as many cars as possible and their willingness to (more often than not) negotiate the best deals as a result of their sheer sales volume. Given the circumstances, I negotiated the price down to the point (over a two week period) in which the General Sales Manager of the dealership said here is out best deal....Take it or Leave it. I thought 38,500 (which is 9.68% off of the car's MSRP) was an appropriate "Fair Market" price...but, the dealership's General Sales Manager did not. And 72K worth of new car's in a year...you must be "Raking In The Dinero" my friend!

Again people throw numbers around. You got almost 10% off sticker, that’s not bad, did u trade a car in too?

I got 10% plus the 0 for 72 + 1000 on trade and they gave me big moola for my Crosstrek

You did fine pal, every area is different not to mention as u have less colors to choose from the price get tuff, I could’ve bought black and paid less but I wanted velocity blue so to me 10% + 1000+ 0 for 72 was good to me

Yes 10% off wasn't an unreasonable number. it depends on the dealership obviously whether they'll play ball or not. Some will hold out for every last nickle, others move enough units that they don't really care since once the car has been on the lot for 2 months, they need it gone. And yet, I pursued a couple of deals, even a left over '18 at a proper mark down and the dealerships refused to budge. The same damn car is still on their lot, unsold. Nuts!
I drive only manuals so that's likely in my favor - A10 have a much wider audience and thus easier to move and less pressure to negotiate.

working 2 jobs helps.
The mustang GT was Ford Credit 0.9 for 36mo and the Camaro at 1.9 for 60.

No leather...but I picked up a GT 6 speed 301A with the black accent package on Friday for $5,147 off MSRP plus the $1000 trade allowance and the 0%. Jax, Florida.

Now if this damn hurricane would cool out so I can actually have some fun in the car...

Thanks. I thought it was a good deal. Not magical, but fair. There may have been $500 or so of movement left but there were only a handful of MTs with the 301A within a 100 mile radius of me so I bit.

Plus it was a huge battle to get any of the incentives plus the 0%.

Ingot Silver. Love the car. I only wish I had bought one sooner.

Getting ready to go look at a '19 Base Silver GT 6 speed my local dealer transferred in for me. Not counting trade, $32.7K OTD including taxes, title, license and doc fee. I'm happy with price. I already have a Sync 3 conversion ready to install so I'll get drive modes as well.

Anyone purchase a Bullitt recently? The best I've been able to negotiate is right under 48k and that's for magna ride and electronics package, no recaros. I think better can be had by the end of the year, but I'd like to see what others have recently paid. Thanks.

Well on Saturday I bought a 2019 GT Premium, 401A, 10Speed, PP, Magnaride, and Safe/Smart sticker 50935. I got it for 44261 BEFORE the 2500 rebate. They also gave me 27K trade in on my 2015 GT Premium (just auto and premium interior). after all tax, title, fees, reg I paid 17K and gave them my 15. I think I got a good deal.
That's a pretty good trade amount. I've been looking at challenger scat packs as I want something different with more torque. The best I've been offered is just above 24k for my 16 premium auto gt with 36k miles. I think I may wait for a 20 as I want the tan interior, but hate to pass up the 4850 rebate. One thing that sucks is dodge only offers 4% financing at best and I have the 0% now.

Bought a 51K speced out PP1 with everything but Magnaride. Found one with the same set up and they bumped it by 8 grand. So figured why waste cash on one option.

They gave me double my trade in any one else offered. Purchased the 72 month 0% apr. After taxes and registaration came out to 58K down to about 51K with my trade in and sale offers. 2500 extra on top of the trade in.

Walked out with the 100K warranty and just paying shy over 700$.

$699 admin fee? Uhh... most states that’s capped around $200. I’d negotiate that way down. Everything is negotiable except the taxes, and destination fees.
I guess I got a good deal. I'm just under this number starting on a car that was 3 thousand more than this. All options on a PP1 but Magneride..

I walked out with low 700's with 100k warranty or 6 years. The age of the loan basically.

You paid $51K for a PP1? I paid $28,777 before tax/tags for a '19 GT base.
