0-60 is such a poor barometer of a vehicle’s overall speed. Why use it when a 1/4 mile time is a much more accurate representative of a vehicles overall speed.

So, as a disclaimer, if the EBPP performs as well as a 2015-2017 GT, that is fine with me. However, something doesn't add up.
I don’t see the EcoBoost being faster, or as fast, in any situation. Every dyno of the EcoBoost I’ve seen looks like the one below. A fairly small and peaky powerband.

Different engine, turbo and tune. We need to wait and see.

Every dyne you’ve seen is from a different engine.

Not sure what everyone is worried about with if the HPP, is, should or could be faster than a 15-17 GT. Ford wants it to be close, but will handicap it in some way in stock form to not be faster than a Gen 3 GT. Now can you tune/build it aftermarket to go faster? I guess we will see. All I know is that the HPP will be very popular with those that want a faster EB and better fuel economy then a GT. Now will Ford sell enough of these with the price increase? We will need to wait and see on that one too. Let's all just be glad Ford is still trying to improve the Mustang at all levels.

Another thing that caught my attention was Mr Widmann stating the dash plaque would show the chassis numbers from the first '20MY HPP to the last. I guess the could start again for '21MY........or is the HPP a 1 year only deal? I think it's probably the former.

I guess "the HPP recycles the previous Perf Pack from the earlier model years" was not allowed to be in the copy...

It's nice to be getting good reviews nobodies trashed the Ecoboost HPP yet. But then again general Motors Trend hasn't got a hold of one yet.
