Just curious if anyone who owns a GT 350 has the oil separator that you can purchase from ford performance and if you do if you feel it's worth it.

I was just thinking about ordering it for my GT 350 R, which will not get tracked until next summer. Any opinions would be appreciated from those who are currently running oil separators on their GT 350's.

Thank you.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I have the passenger side FP separator and it does collect oil. Not a ton, but enough that I think it is worthwhile and doing it's job.

I have it on both sides, mainly because it’s recommended in the owners manual if you track the car.

both sides collect very little on my car... like maybe 3 oz over 15 hours of track time and 6500 miles... almost worthless IMO, but every car is different.....

Went with FP on the passenger side only. Definitely works and would advise to get at least that side.

For the $744 involved in the two parts, I can drain my FP separators many times and continue to feel good about it.

Also have both FP separators on my car. I burn no oil, and I pull a couple fluid oz from the passenger side separator every few track days. I've never had to add oil between changes.

If I was to get one now, I would get the JLT v3.0. Much easier to empty and install, etc. Actually, if I was to know what I know now, I would not install one :)

I run the FP passenger side. I have collected oil out of it, not a ton but enough. Takes very little to empty it. Big turkey baser, suck out, disposed, tighten screws, done.
