Where you going to go for 1/4 mile? Should have come up to Duluth for the Garfield ave drag races this weekend, good times. Only 1/8 mile but hella fast cars non the less.
Plan to go to either BIR or Rock Falls. I scheduled time for the dyno next Wednesday, hope it makes it thru the session lol

Brakes are bled, still don't love the pedal feel though. I burned through 3 bottles of fluid bleeding, air is out. I guess this is how these little calipers feel.

Did my first round of rotor seasoning on the brakes, and I feel much better about the pedal feel now. Thank goodness, several rounds of bleeding paid off. Going back out tmrw to do another round of seasoning and bedding and then back to logging pulls.

I did try some launches tonight. I did some healthy burn outs (didn't drop tire pressure though) and tried launching in 1st and 2nd gear. Either way, it blows the tires off. Will be hard to get any street pull logs from low gears. I hope to get at least some pulls in for PBD to review so that I don't show up at the dyno with 600hp :)

Made it out to the All Ford car show in Shakopee, MN this morning. My phone is 2.5 years old and well used, sorry for the poor quality pics. Here are only a few that I took:

Bronze/gold works well on this color. Nice choice, impressive build you've got going here.

On Monday I had scheduled time off from work to go with some friends up to BIR for road racing. I ended up not taking the BRZ and instead turned into the photographer. I had an absolute blast, my first turny car event. I can confidently say, as fun as it was, drag racing is my personal preference.

I went with a Camaro SS 1LE, brand new hellcat on all seasons, a 68 Camaro, and a classic Nova. I took nearly 2,000 photos, here are only a few for you to enjoy. You will notice there was one accident. A Corvette hit a tire wall, rough day for the owner, but he was unharmed.

Swapped the stock wheels and tires on the rear, checked fluids, packed the trunk with spares (spark plugs, vac lines, etc), checked the brakes, loaded a fresh Rob Shoemaker tune from PBD, got a tank of e85 - all in hopes of landing a few solid pulls on the dyno tmrw. Sure hope it all goes well. I have an hour drive there. That'll be the furthest the Mustang has been from home on the stage 2 conversion. Can you tell I am anxious and ready to get the party started???

Friends, here are the results:

7th gear pull. Dyno operator killed the pull at 7300 rpm instead of 8000 rpm as he and I discussed, I think there's a lot of power left on the table because of this. I think 800whp is in this car with the 4.5" pulley.

STD, Smoothing 5 = 770whp 553wtq @ 7312 rpm on 9.37 psi of boost
SAE, Smoothing 5 = 757whp 544wtq @ 7312 rpm on 9.37 psi of boost

Rob has already reviewed the logs and signed off. We are going to drop a pulley size or two and hit the track! Picked up a pail of fuel for the track, didn't use it for the dyno:

So, what do you think?

Ordered some Ford Performance tie downs for hauling the mustang when I break it. They looked light and like they'd mostly be out of the way when I don't need them. Getting closer.

I considered ordering a smaller blower pulley, now I think I should just upgrade the blower :)

Man I need to get to the Dyno, if your running that at 9.3 curious what I'm running now at 14. Granted, lower compression and not E-85 equipped but should be in the same ballpark. Looks good though!!

Oh and yeah you should upgrade to the D1x for sure. Let's see how much that block can hold. Better yet I'll borrow you mine for "testing"...
