I am also curious if anybody has good remarks on this hood. I am trying to replace my stock hood due to corrosion and the dealer wants $1200 for just the hood and then paint.

I have it on my car. It looks good. I have also the bumper and the fender from Mp concepts.

The prepping of the hood was ok.

The fitting is 99% OEM.

The clearance under the hood is maybe 0.30 inch less then OEM hood. But Everything still fits; OEM Strutbar and Roush CAI.

Its aluminum, so for me its better than fiberglass. Its maybe 2-3 lbs lighter than OEM hood.

Only negative remark is that the hood is a bit flimsy. You can only feel the flimsyness when its open. I think it’s because the aluminum underneath is a bit thinner than OEM.

But as I said, I prefer aluminum hood than fiberglass hood.

Wow, that looks great! I appreciate the response! The hood is actually on sale for around $450 on American muscle. Might have to place the order.

How wide is that middle vent area on the hood? I'm considering this hood and adding the trackspec vents (meant for the real GT350). I don't know if that would work. https://trackspecmotorsports.com/mustang-gt350-gt4-hood-vent-full-kit

I know this is an old thread but i’ m looking at the new 2020 gt-500 aluminum hood for my 2016 Gt/Cs. I want to know if my redline hood struts work with it?
