I’m thinking aftermarket intakes are going to a big hit for this bad boy.

It’s probably going to make a significant difference it only in sound. The current unit seems fairly restrictive.

The OEM's have gotten much better at utilizing airflow so I'm not sure what gains are out there for just an intake swap. You also need to define intake - as in throttlebody, piping, filtration etc. My SRT doesn't benefit from a piping swap - i through in a K&N removeable filter and called it a day.

Vendors are sleeping.. I think lethal is the only one with parts so far. Cat deletes should be available soon too. Looks like there is a flange on both sides.

I doubt you'll see significant performance gains, after looking at the intake design.

I wouldn't even bother....it's a closed intake. I'm sure the engineers did their homework on this one.

I will most likely only be adding a drop in air filter and a Foster @Roh92cp sound tube mod to the stock system. He has many different stages of his kits. I have been a fan since his original kits and I am sure he has plans to make some for this car. I had his stage 3 in my last car and it was insane. This car I will not want to permanently modify but I will go as far as I can up to that point to get the best whine.

Especially in boosted applications, smoothing the intake track will always yield results. Big enough for $300? Thats up to you.
Someone like me thats already planning to up the boost, port the blower and other modifications, an intake is certainly on the list.

What may be ~5hp on a stock vehicle, may be ~20hp on one like mine
