I read that thread but it talked of check engine lights coming on and off. In my experience I have never had a light. Just this gawd awful sound at low idle that goes away with a tad bit of throttle.
My car makes this exact same noise and I have about 20,000 miles on it. GTPP here too. So far I've only had one dealership look at it and they said "normal operating noises". Anyone get to the bottom of what it is? Sound is absolutely awful.
