Pretty sure this has already been posted in another thread, but just got off the phone with Ford Performance and Noah told me that GT500 production stops sometime around November and resumes in the spring.
Seems that they cannot store cars outside in Flat Rock in the winter because of tire cracks.

The solution seems simple to me... don't store them, ship 'em!

2016 Shelby GT350, 2017 Ford Focus ST, On Order 2020 CTFP Shelby GT 500 with POTTS. Car is released and awaiting shipment. I am running out of time before having to leave for Japan on July 29th.
Looks like I am going to have to give up on a fall delivery. My order is still sitting as unscheduled clean and I just don't see it making the cut before Ford shuts down GT 350 and GT 500 production for the fall. I ordered a "Golden Ticket" car. Are there many of you sitting as Unscheduled Clean? It seems most either have a build week or are still sitting Unscheduled Material Hold.

I just got off the phone with Ford Performance to see if my build week was pushed back, it's holding steady at 10/14! Whew!

However, the gentleman I spoke to did tell me that production is going to completely stop from mid November to March for all GT500s. I figured it would only be for the CFTP cars, but I guess not. That's crazy and not something they did with the GT350 as far I remember.

Those of us that are scheduled for this year are extremely blessed/lucky. Sucks to those that have to wait until March just for production to start back up again.

Just read an article about issues with the new Explorers and Aviators. Looks like they are the reason production is being pushed back at FRAP. Here is a screenshot and link from the article.

Spoke to an individual this morning regarding your informative post and yes it sounds like the FRAP is in a real mess and no idea when it is going to clear up.

With that being the case I unfortunately will not see my CFTP car until late next Spring at the very earliest.

Checked with FP today and my build date just slipped from week of 23 Sep to week of 7 Oct.
Last 3 of VIN = 195
When I commented to Noah that I understand there are some other issues at FRAP he just said “Yep...” and wouldn’t say another word...

If you can list the last four of your VIN and a description of the car, base + option I will add it to the list.

I think the average time is between 2 to 4 weeks from completed production, assuming there are no serious quality control holds.

Based on the panel gaps on my GT350R, quality control is not what it used to be... so I anticipate no issues lol...

Yeah, I hear you. I had the same panel gap issues on my 16 GT350. The rear bumper was particularly bad.

After hearing about build weeks being pushed, I got a little anxious so I called this morning and Noah confirmed that my car is still scheduled for the week of 10/21.

Now, let's hope the fact that it's Friday the 13th doesn't add MORE misery to those either in limbo or, with VIN's.
