Side question with Waterford Hills. Did you have any issues with the required noise levels at Waterford or are you running anything to force valves close? I've been wanting to go out to Waterford but am nervous of the Db limit.

Yep, issues for sure. The sound tower is 1/2 way down the back straight. Wot in 3rd is natural and dings every time. Short shifting to 4th 20ft before sound tower has aways been fine for me in the past, BUT yesterday the storm was rolling in with lower clouds and I got a warning in 4th Wot. The limit is 75db 20ft behind the fence is where they measure, I hit 76db and they treated me like I just ran over someone and made me come in mid session to whine.

After that I just lifted 50% 20ft before tower to make sure I didn’t get thrown out. It is annoying, but it’s a fun track under 20 min from my house. I don’t want to mess with my valves or exhaust otherwise.

FWIW, many other cars get dinged (zl1, gt3 with aftermarket exhausts ect). You get 1 warning then you are out. Pita and they need to do something about it. At least the only spot that matters is the mid straight and it’s not a long straight. Just short shift to 4th and do 75% throttle right before the tower and you will be fine. Wot everywhere else is fine.
