i have a 2019 Mustang GT PP2. I would like to get a set of winter tires.

On one of the web tire companies, they list that the stock wheels will fit. 275/35R19 tire. It is 1.43% greater in circumference which is within the recommended limit of 3%. The tire height though is 4.75mm thicker.

I am concerned that a 275 might be too thick for a winter tire. The regular GT normally takes a 235/50R18 I think but an 18 would never fit over the 15” 6 piston Brembo brakes.

Doing the math and going to either a 19”x9” or 19”x9.5” rim, I could get a set of 255/35R19 winter tires. These are -0.68% smaller in circumference and -2.25mm less in height than stock.

265/35R19 is very close to stock (0.38% greater in circumference and 1.25mm larger in diameter). I think they would need 19”x9.5” or 19”x10” rims. I do not think there are many options in this size for winter tires.

Has anyone used any of these sizes for winter tires on the Mustang GT with PP2?

Thanks
Frank
