In other words, if I were to remove my PP1 spoiler and replace it with the standard GT spoiler, would all of existing holes either be reused or at least covered??

Bill from CJ Pony Parts replaced his PP1 spoiler with a Shelby GT350 Track Pack one. The video will give you a good idea what's under the spoiler. Hopefully someone else can chime in about a regular GT spoiler.

Majority of the holes would be covered if you removed a PP1 Spoiler and replaced it with a Ducktail or Track Pack Style Spoiler like in the Video above. You should also be able to re-use some of the holes to mount the new spoiler

There is where it gets tricky. If you have a car with a Standard Base Spoiler and wanted to replace it was a Pedestal Style Spoiler (GT350R, GT/CS, etc...) you will have holes visible, so you would need to fill in the holes.

I seen a CAD Drawing of Mustang Decklid/Trunk, but unfortunately, i do not have it so i cant show what i am talking about
