My 16 gt with a stage 2 whipple went 10.28 @ 138 on whipples supplied tune. Also got 26mpg on a road trip with the same tune. Oh, and it is a stick. What's not to love about the whipple tune?

wow very impressive as well. kinda hard to believe that mph but possible I guess. would also like more details on mods because Im sure you cant have many mods done if your still using whipple tune.

I know u hurt the engine back a little while ago, sorry about that as I know how that stings.
And I believe u weren't running 93 on these 134-138 mph passes

I believe u were running 260+ fuel?
What did u run on 93

For a 6sp thats really impressive

thats right I remember your setup- Stage 2 whipple, 3.375" pulley, ms109, headers. factory cat back, spec clutch. slicks- yea definitely good deal and dooable - very nice.

Whipple said themselves the factory stage 2 setup (15-17 anyways) tune and injector was good to a 3.25” pulley on ms109. It dynod 754whp on the 3.5” pulley. Last time out a couple weeks ago it went 10.73 @ 134.9 on 93, 3.5” pulley and methanol injection and my daily driver tires in 2200ft air. Still on whipples tune mostly with Tasca’s cam timing changes, and i tweaked it for 1000cc injectors.

The original motor grabbed a rod bearing with just about 10k on it. I put another oe shortblock in it with the only change was being different rod and main bearing clearances. Been good since, car has about 44k miles on it and too many 1/4 passes to count, lol.

What does it run on Whipple tune running 93?

You have that sucker flying fir the mods listed, impressive even more so for a 6sp

Wait..what?
You’ve adjusted the tune for cam timing and larger injectors AND you’re running meth injection...
That’s not REALLY the Whipple tune now is it? You’ve effectively used the Whipple tune as a starting point for a new tune.
