What up everyone. I have a gforce DS and unfortunately the car vibrates so bad it dont feel safe go down the track. The faster I go the worse it gets. Taking it off and putting the stock back on. Gonna order up a QA1. Trying to see who all here is running a QA1 and if it smooth. Car has a gen5 whipple on making 740whp or so. I want to turn it up so bad. But can't till I get the DS figured out. Thanks for the feedback.

16 GT, MT 82. Fitted the QA1 a few weeks ago. Absolutely NO dramas whatsoever.
Having said that, I took the time to REALLY clean the diff flange and I also made sure the angles were more or less perfect.
My engine was lowered 1/4”. By chance, it worked out that dropping the gearbox crossmember by the same amount gave me something like 1.1* at the U joint and 0.2* at the CV. Total operating angle of 0.9*
No regrets but I do wish they were a lot cheaper :curse:

I talked with QA1, Gforce and DSS yesterday. I have a DSS 1 piece DS and vibrations are very intense 60 mph up. All 3 mirrors are useless. QA1 and Gforce both said if I switched to their DS it would probably NOT get any better. QA1 and DSS stated better to go carbon fiber as cuts vibrations way down. They all agree that the 10r80 is hard to control the vibrations.

QA1 when I had my MT82 and QA1 on with the Tremec. Both have been perfect.

I have a DSS Shaft as well, and it's an absolute piece of garbage. Vibrates the entire car after 60, gets worse with speed. It's not subtle either. I have no idea how parts makers can get away with building this garbage, and vendors saying "No direct returns".

Reports like this kept me away from aluminum ds and led me to QA1 CF. Glad went that direction.

Who did you order from? Terry Reeves said, there's a long wait on these.
Even when Terry mentioned a long wait it still arrived like a week earlier than we thought. That was like May though I believe. Obviously may have changed since.

Beef he had a couple in stock when I ordered mine. My buddy bought one yesterday off him too.
