Hello,

Noted my front bumper has two likely rock chip paint damage. I try to avoid driving behind big trucks but still it happened.
Kinda depressed but what is the best not expensive solution for this?

You can just get a touch up paint pen from the dealer and have at it.

This stuff happens, especially on these thin paint jobs. Don't be surprised to see more over time.

Either a Ford touch up pen or Dr. Colorchip. I've used Dr. Colorchip with pretty good results before. There's a process you have to follow.

My solution is to just completely ignore and neglect the front bumper. It gets chips all the time and the tabs will break so just forget about keeping it pristine at this point. I'll use touchup paint on some other areas of the car, but the only way to protect the front end is to wrap it with PPF right away.

Covercraft front bra for long trips and highway driving. About $150 and you car done. just wax the the front end before attaching.

Repair it with something like Dr. Colorchip and then get PPF (paint protection film). At least if it's a newer car. If it's older with other little damage, either get it painted and protected, or live with it.
Those looks like a stretch spandex material. If you can see through it, does it really protect against large rock chips? It seems like it'd be great for everything else and smaller dirt/debris damage, salt etc., but for large rock chips? I'd be a little skeptical.

This looks great! Do you keep it on all the time? Even when washing the car?

Find a well rated touch up paint guy in your area.your dealer would give you name they use.these guys are worth it.try and find brick and mortar guy.ask one of your local car club guys who they use. I bring my cars in once a year to repairs dings and paint.

Thanks! I felt compelled to opine on the mask because I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it.

But seriously, besides how they look, which isn't good in my opinion (obviously), 31 states require front license plates which the mask would cover. Sure you could mount the plate outside the mask, or get a plate holder that mounts below the bumper that seems like going from bad to worse.
