What do you do with the plastic trim piece pictured below when you add the rear Rokblokz? Searched around here, YouTube and Rokblokz’s website and haven’t seen this trim piece there before. Maybe I have a unicorn S550?

I've looked at some PP2 pictures and I don't think I see anything like that on the 2019s? That seems too prominent to not be able to see it from pictures online? Have you taken the rear wheels off (I'm assuming it's the same on the other side?) and tried to see what it's part of? Like is that a separately attached piece that you can take off, or is it part of the fender/wheel well/interior flap?

It looks like a purely cosmetic thing that if you're intent on the Rokblokz, you could probably zip it off with a Dremel in 30 seconds.

It is hard to see in the pics. This is the dealer pic below that best shows it—but if you weren’t looking for it, you’d miss it.

It is right at the top edge of the rear bumper.

My 2019 PP2 does not have that plastic piece.

^Just wanted to say I got mine at Koons of Baltimore too. But stick your head in there and look around and find out what that thing is attached too.

My 2018 PP2 does not have that piece either. It looks to be either cosmetic or used as an alignment piece during assembly.

I’ve never seen that specific part on a PP2 until now. It definitely was not present on any 2018’s and even early 2019 PP2’s that have been posted to the large PP2 thread aren’t showing that part.

What is the build date of your 2019 PP2?

This has to be a Ford revision - but for what, I’m not exactly sure because as small as it is, it surely won’t protect the rear 1/4 to bumper areas from any road rash...

???

OP - take some more pics from near the backside into the wheel wells on both sides.

What is also interesting about the OP’s pic is, if that piece were removed, it then looks like the bumper cover would be too short to meeting up with the rear 1/4 body panel fender edging. As if that piece is being used a “filler”...?

??

It looks like it might have some purpose in holding the inner fender liner in place. It's very strange. These are not on the PP1 cars FWIW.
