E85 is the real deal esp on a 2018 plus!

My 2016 with a Cobra Jet manifold on E85 and an AED tune was a damn riot just over 30 degrees of timing all the way to 8k!! I giggled like a little girl 1st time I rung it out on sme county blacktop Haha!
I know the felling! Needless to say I felt the same way last night

Wouldnt lund be able to get your pump gas tune worked out to where it doesnt knock even with bad gas?

Ive seen some videos that say running 40% ethanol is almost as good as running full e85, that may be more practical for you if your flex tune likes that youd spend less on gas and get better mileage.

Yes they did, on my street 93 tune but I cant live with 24-25 timing on track days (cool days lets not even talk about hot day!). The car will not run 10's with that timing and we dont want that :-)

Right. I mean sure a tuner could make the knock sensors happy with garbage timing if you wanted to run 87 octane but thats not the point here.

E85 is better in everyway esp on the 12:1 gen3 engines. And its exactly why I keep saying IMO the 2018+ are "knock limited" even in 100% stock form.

Put it on the good stuff and get it to 30 degrees will make a massive difference.

Yup! There are guys here running 29 degrees with the same 94 but I would never mess with knock sensors. I’d rather have them sensitive instead of detonating through a piston

I knew it was fuel! Glad you figured it out, Ray. That E85R tune is bonkers isn't it? Lund FTW.

I dont sorry. Its a stock 301A with light battery, drag pack, and rear seat delete. So figure 80-100 LBS less than stock
Nice runs!!! I imagine the air is very good up in Canada right now. What else you got installed exhaust and suspension?

I'm hoping for similar results next month on mine once the good fall air sets in. I have E85 PBD tune and stock headers/cats and probably heavier 401A car but I do have drag pack.

Nice runs!

94 in a lot of country's is similar to our 91. 1 full can of boostane professional should get you close to 94/95. Which would be good for 25/26° 2 cans per tank should get you in the 97 range, which should be safe for 28/29°

Two full cans in my car with proper 93, netted me 31\32° at wot with no knock.
