Hello. No. This is bolt on kit that takes between 12 and 16 hours with an experienced facility. We have some customers put them on in their driveway :)

CARB is only in California. I suppose in other states long as you pass the tests, it’s ok. I doubt it’s CARB legal as that’s a pretty involved and costly process. Some states don’t even have any requirements at all.

AT that power level the stock clutch will not last long. Learned that in my GT500 when I went north of 600, the stock clutch said no mas. Had to drop a McLeod in it. Those are some nice numbers though.

@ Hellion: What options were chosen to make that power ? Or was this a base kit ?

Is that base kit even turn-key drivable? Or are there other "options" that you actually must have to get the kit up and running? That's quite a nice laundry list of options that drives the price of admission waaaay up waaaay fast. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer or anything like that, just learning and wrapping my brain around it all.

I talked with Hellion yesterday about that, The headers are an add-on option they make the base kit so your factory headers bolt right up. That being said it still looks like you have to have some sort of tuning done so you have to check the box for the HP Tuners and DW injectors 1500$

With The GT350, we have headers....They are un-equal length, but they are basically shorty headers. So I would think you do not need the header option. The tuning and injector though would be needed depending on what power level you would want to be at.

PBD does their tuning it seems, or at least that is who I would use, but even clicking off a few boxes this kit is less than other kits on the market and seems well made. Hellion has a good reputation in the market.
