Hi all,

I’m looking to get some help with my Eboost2 controller settings.

My 2015 fully built Hellion Auto will spike to about 14.5 psi of boost on a WOT launch on gate pressure. Car is on 91 plus additive. When it hits this boost level, it will pull timing. Dakota from Lund said it comes in real aggressive.

I am not home to test the car, but during data logging, it will make about 10 psi at 7000 RPM.

Car is on SP0.

I would like to have the boost come in slightly easier as to allow max timing.

I have zero experience with boost controllers, so All comments are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Solved!

I adjusted my gain down to 8.5 from 10.5. Car now makes 10.8 psi boost. It was 14.5 or so before and the car pulled timing.

The GP was set to 10.5 psi, which is pretty much the gate pressure. This was too high. After reading the manual, I set the GP to 8.5 for the boost and this rectified the issue.

I lowered the GP even further for testing purposes and it ramped in the boost a little too slow for my linking.

I never checked as I bough the car built like this, but according to Hellion, I should have 7.5 psi springs. I’ll check over the winter to confirm.

I turned the GP down to 0 and I think the car made around 8 psi of boost

On my hellion low mount kit they supplied 5lb and 7lb springs. The car makes 7-8lbs on the 5lb springs.
