Mix Unleaded Pump Gas with VP Unleaded Race Fuel

Any members mixing race gas with pump gas rather than mixing Boostane?

I either fill up with race gas or use pump with boostane there isnt an issue with mixing its just that boostane is way cheaper than doing that, so why do it.

Why? 100LL is 1.69/liter in my neck of the woods. 93 pump is $1.39. Mix 1/2 & 1/2
you get 97 for $1.54/L. Boostane is $30/ for 16 ounces.

100 octane here is $8.49 a gallon Boostane is $30 for 32oz

Yeah I live by a racetrack so we have it at the pump. Its just expensive.

Because it's easier to carry a couple of cans of boostane, compared to 16 gallons of race fuel.

Well at your blend ratio. One can of Boostane will give you a little over 2 full tanks of 97. If you don't have access to race fuel, long trips could be a logistical nightmare.
