When was this video taken? I’m sure this was done back in winter/early spring to be ready for the season. You don’t do it in the middle of busy summer time. Either way widening the track could save seconds. How do you know it’s narrower?
Agree. Just looking at pics, it’s in the fall of last year when paved. You can see the foliage on the trees. So just before winter and be ready for spring season.
So what you are saying is that the track was just resurfaced prior to the GT500 on this video? It must have been the worst resurfacing ever. You can clearly see freshly patched areas on the corners surrounded by lighter, older material. Also the straightaway is clearly covered with seam and crack filler. If the track was just resurfaced in the fall as you are eluding to it wouldn't need to be seam and crack filled a couple of months later... That picture from the raceway could be years old.
Different tracks bud, you have to AT LEAST compare times accomplished on the same tracks. Lol, you must be old because you are stubborn AF. Go ahead and look up zr1 times in grattan, you wont find a 2019 zr1. You will find a zr1 from 10 years ago tho.
Nobody knows when video was shot. I just said new pavement doesn’t take long to loose it’s new look. And by pics of the new pavement, it was done in fall. That video could of been 2 weeks ago. It’s not going to be to old as it has no camo on it, so it would be recently. And new pavement going through a winter with frost can and will get cracks, especially since it was a resurface and not a total rebuild.
