Gold heat resistant tape

Is the Gold heat resistant tape worth it? Does it keep inlet temps down? I have a vortech V7JT supercharger. I was thinking about wrapping the cold side and hot side. Has anyone tired it yet? Is it worth it? Thanks

Lots of tests out there shows it works fairly well. How does those tests compare to your testing?

I'm not sure it'll make much difference unless you're really in a Hot zone. It's not very expensive so I don't see a reason not to take some temp measurements and give it a shot to compare.
