Is there a way to order the new rear spoiler and retrofit it to the older GT350s? I have a 2017.

Ford parts has the existing/older rear spoiler (the one my car has) listed at $1900. How is that possible? This is a plastic piece that should not be too expensive?

Is there a front modification necessary to counter balance the rear downforce?

Ford prices on the new and old wings are ridiculous. Don't ever look at the cost of the GT350R wing or you may blackout.

For 2019+ ford reduced the airflow opening in the front grill which serves to reduce the amount of airflow entering the engine compartment and therefore reduces lift on the front axle from that trapped air.

Is it easy to change that front grill?

The entire front bumper has to come off and then you have to remove the restrictor plate behind it. God only knows what Ford thinks that's worth as well.

The restrictor plate is part of the upper grille, as is the Cobra badge. You can't order those parts separately. The original upper grille's MSRP is $350, best price I found was $230 (AutoNation White Bear Lake). The 2019/20 GT350 grilles are same as the 350-R grille but with a silver badge instead of red. I haven't found a part number or price for this yet.

Had a 15' GT/PP spoiler delete and love the look. So now I have just the opposite problem...I have a 2019 GT350 and now looking for another 19' Oxford white rear deck lid with spoiler delete as I don't like the look of the spoiler....looks like I might have to buy a new deck lid and have it painted

If you decide to sell the spoiler on its own, let me know. I'll be happy to make a solid offer.

I’d be wary of taking off the swing and messing up the aero balance of the car. The aero keeps the car balanced at speed. I suppose if you keep it under 80 or so it’s not an issuer. But on a track or twisty road with no rear aero and the front sero present, that could get dangerous.

I did this on my '05 STi... you know, the one with the double-decker wing. My car attracted considerably less attention that way.

As for the GT350, I find that without the stripes,my car blends in with all the other mustangs. Fine by me. :)

DC...I did read in a 2019 Car and Driver article on he 19' GT350...."The 2019 Shelby includes the fitment of the GT350R's smaller grille opening, which improves high-speed stability by reducing front axle lift by 13 pounds. A sleeker rear spoiler generates 135 pounds of downforce at 120 mph. Although that figure is 51 pounds less than the outgoing wing, adding the optional $850 Handling package tacks a Gurney flap onto the spoiler and ups the downforce on the rear of the car to 238 pounds"

And with less downforce that might make a difference at 120 or higher, street driving will have to see when I make that change.

I am confused, the new bigger spoiler has less downforce?

The decklid is different for 19-20 than 15-18?
