Yes

By the way, just wondering if you’re reading you own post. The answers to “what pads to use” are shown in post 33. Cobra jet knows what he is doing so why not follow his recommendations?
I did read that but it mentions a 3" adapter and 3" pad. I was going to use a 6" polisher. That being said, I appreciate all the advice and info.

I avoid even looking at the one from my car because by doing so it will scratch itself.
Have never seen that thing happenned before, OP. WTH is that?
I think it's the hybrid ceramic wax I used a couple weeks, although I can't believe I missed that big an area and didn't notice until know since I use the trunk every morning before work.

Would a 3" polisher be better than 6"? Also, are there any budget polishing pads that aren't as pricey as the Griott's pads that will work?

I've tried with a 6" and it did work generally, but the 3" was just easier to maneuver and I felt like I was hitting the curved area along the bottom better (where the most scratches were).

You can save money using this. Do not scrimp on budget pads as they make contact with your paint. The Griot’s are not that expensive.

Got the Meguiar’s PlastX today, spent two minutes using it with a microfiber cloth - It removed the overspray and the goof off residue. Pretty amazing really. When I get time I’m gonna try using it on all the scratches on the rest of the panel. Thanks again for all the information and advice.
