What is this on my deck lid panel?

Either really hard water you didn't dry or some sort of wax/sealant over-spray that you didn't clean off. I can see a circular streaking motion on the bottom left of the stain, like you were cleaning or buffing that piece after waxing and just completely whiffed that corner. If it's not coming off with a regular cleaner, that's my best guess. You're going to want to use a heavy-duty de-greaser of some sort to get it off. Wet a microfiber with whatever you can find, like a Goo-gone if needs be, wipe it on, let it sit a minute, rub it off, and then do it again.

Carnauba liquid wax takes off overspray.might try rubbing it with dawn on microfiber towel.

Since it doesn't appear to be damaged bring it to a body shop and get it painted

I'd have a body shop paint it and out a good clear coat on it too.

I'm guessing having it painted would be at least $200. Plus might not look as good a s factory. Looks like I can get a new take-of for $100. Might go that route. Just wondering how hard it is to deal with the camera.

have the same shit on my 18 gt and nothing would remove it ..very weird staining !!!! i didnt compound it because the plastic scratches so easy ...

the 14 models looks like that too. around the edges they look and the paint is peeling but its still smooth to the touch.
