The larger displacement (2650+) blowers can make very efficient use of the boost. Lower boost at higher volume equals much lower IAT's. VMP makes a nice 2650 package. Whipple makes good packages as well. Each is capable of 700 RWHP on 93 done correctly. It may be a struggle to get a 2300 TVS on 93 that high and remain efficient without heat soaking. I've never run any of my 4 setups to that level. I am at 631through a 6R80 at 10.5 boost (80mm pulley) on a 2300TVS that was on the car when I bought it.

As mentioned I would not suggest the bottle. The hassle of refilling alone just isn't worth it. And the chance of being out when you "need" isn't going to happen with boost on demand.

If the funds are available look into a twin 67mm turbo setup. The numbers and times people are making with them is amazing. Less weight, and the most efficient source of power pound for pound of boost.

Go with the Centrifical. Its power level is only limited by your imagination.

I make about 330whp and 430wtq on the hit at 4000 rpm at 40mph with a P1sc on my pump gas/torco tunes 6r80/3.55 car. I’ve ran a good number of cars, PD coyotes, centri coyotes, PD and centri Gm cars, m3’s tuned on E85, turbo upgraded AMG cars, big cubic in GM NA Cars, at around my same power level. None have really gotten out on me. Some making up a considerable amount more torque down low. I still don’t understand the “no power down low” mentality. It’s like they expect a small cubic in high revving V8 to make tire shredding torque at part throttle at 2500 rpm.

I'm fairly partial to turbo kits myself. Too easy to change how much boost you want to run and they have the biggest wow factor. Let us know at Lethalperformance.com if we can help you make this decision a little bit easier :D

So you think that a centrifugal hits as hard down low as a tvs based off of one race vs a completely different car with unknown mods. What you describe sounds like a typical centri car, you were even at first and started to pull away once you get in the power band cause you make more power.... later. Take a ride in my tvs car, 2nd gear 40 roll on a tire. So hard off the hit most of the time cars with more power than me still don't come around me until after at least 130. I make over 800 wheel, so it doesn't happen often.

So a friend has a new ZL1 stick car and we raced from 20, 40 and 60 to over 150. Guess what? On the hit its identical and we are side by side for a second then I pull away in each gear. I'm only low 600's on pump gas. Everybody says centri have no torque and suck??

Around what power do you make? And what are your track times?

I got into a big argument on SVTP about how torque means almost nothing in a drag/WOT situation assuming the “low tq” combo has the correct gearing.

Horsepower is what matters....

I agree gimmie, it’s why I asked Vegas how much power he makes. If he makes 800 I can see him getting out on me. If he makes 720 or less, doubtful. I’m sure some guys have seen some of the races I’ve posted on other forums like SVTP.

Im on 69mm pulley and E85. Last time I dynoed I was on a 72 mm pulley, I made 787 hp 646 tq. I changed to a 69 since, so Id guess I am just over 800 wheel now 650 something tq. Im not trying to say that centris are junk at all, dont get me wrong they make amazing power. But when I see somebody say they are as hard as a tvs off the hit I have to say something lol.
