I agree. There are many track days at Road Atlanta when you can hit 140 Mph+ coming down the back straight into T-10a.+90 is nuts on those roads.
I am in from the morning until mid-afternoon.Four of us are dong Six Gaps tomorrow. If anyone can go, PM me for the details.
Sorry that you can't make it. We will be safe.I'll be out of town, but the weather should be great... enjoy and be safe!
dp,The GT350 is off the train and in Hapeville waiting for truck transport. The dealer currently says it will be at their dealership next week.
You will find the car to be exceptional. It is X 10 times better than the old Terminator of 2003-2004. No one is racing, and they pull over at major intersections. Some of the rear cars (everyone is rear or front at one time) get blocked by traffic....I am really looking forward to this car...
I hope the medical issues clear up soon. Let's try it again next month (or before the fall foliage).Looks like the NC guys are out for this weekend. Two of us have parents with some health issues, if something changes we will let you know.
I had to follow-up. I drove up to Blue Ridge (Hwy 60, western 6-Gap) today and came back via Hwy 129 at Blairsville, GA. The chance of rain was 10%. I got past Suches when the worst thunderstorm hit. I was hydro-planning at 35 Mph on the straights. The rain finally calmed down on Hwy 129 South about the time that a found two big RV's going 15 Mph.Looks like the NC guys are out for this weekend.
