Personally, I'm not a fan of the red cobra badging but I can see where it would look good on some cars. The biggest thing for me is, they did not go with the little, flat Cobra plate badging like they did on the 350's. (no offense guys, just personal preference.)

I don't often post but Ill add a bit from my experience on Friday night before the cruise. With my wife in My Redeye, yes not a current Mustang owner but I've owned many before including a 14 GT500 and the 19 GT I traded in for the Redeye. Anyway, the cars I've owned are a story all to their own. So here is a picture my wife got after about 2 miles cruising next to and talking to... well if you know, you'll know. I did make a point of the fact that I am in the Redeye because the dealers chased me away with the ADM's and expressed my frustration over them, I can say is they are aware but not much they can do. I'll just say the two cars will be very competitive as I don't want to say to much...

My son and I took our GT350 to Woodward for the second year in a row. We were both blown away by the sheer number of S550 GT500's that were out cruising on Woodward Ave., not just parked. There had to have been close to 10 driving around.

How is the sound in comparison the your GT350? Sadly I did not see a new GT500 roaming around Carmel/Monterey for the monterey historics/monterey reunion.
I did see 4 Ford GT's though. I'm sure the new GT500 was on display at the exotics on broadway. The pagani and koenigsegg cars will hold me over! LOL

We were standing right behind one of the running GT500's in Mustang Alley when one of the Ford reps revved it up. It's a deeper exhaust note than the GT350... Definitely sounded good. We immediately noticed that the tail pipes are each at least a half inch bigger in diameter than my GT350's tail pipes.

Believe I heard somewhere that the gt500 exhaust tips are 5 inch. Can't remember what they said the gt350's were but I believe they were 3-4 inch.
