I guess I had bad luck, i called every dealer in lancaster and lebanon counties in early july and no one had open allocations.

Other thing to think about is half these guys working at these dealerships never know which end is up half the time if you know what I mean lol.

Hopefully your dealer has a golden ticket to order the black painted stripes. Otherwise you’ll have to modify your order to go with vinyl stripes or stripe-less. I tried to order the painted stripes and the regional manager made us change the order.

I would not give the name of the dealer. Guess Iam somewhat "paranoid" after hearing of guys saying on this site their deal fell thru and now the dealer wants way over MSRP. I've learned in life sometimes "Less is More".

Have you gotten "confirmation" from the dealers Ford Rep that your order has actually been "accepted"???? I too question the painted stripes thing as that is under the 1,250 allocation thing.

I truly hope it works out for you. Has he absolutely "assured you" that you are able to get the "Painted Stripes"???? If he doesn't have that "elusive Golden Ticket" I doubt you will get them.
