Simple and easy thing to do first is flush your PS fluid with new fluid. Plenty of youtube videos out there if you dont know how. Sometimes new fluid will cure many PS issues.

You may also have issues with this route. This platform has electric steering.

I would inspect the steering column checking for any loosen fasteners and proper clearance. I have not heard of motor failures but I am sure they happen. I know this is not likely but you are not hearing this on the same surface are you? I assume you hear this no matter the surface after the 20 or so minutes of driving.

I hear it the most at any parking lot while I try to park or getting out because I turn the steering wheel the most. Doesn't mean its not there while cruising, just a bit less and the loud exhaust hide it too.

Totally off topic but what gauges and gauge pods are you running on the a-pillar?

No vibration. Just the sound.
I must Agree with sloppymax... the car has electrical steering... so no fluids anywhere...
I not know if you can do use IDS ford... maybe you can read out electrical steering.. and readout maybe faults...and can do activating... then can listen and feel better where sound come from.
But to hear at movie... it not far away... i think probely.. near electrical engine steering..

i am having this exact same issue. The issue came about when I installed my airlift system. Still in the process of troubleshooting to see what it is....
