I agree that both parties have gotten away from "For the People" over time. We honestly need to get away from Career Politicians but they make the laws so unfortunately that will never happen. However...the parties are vastly different in agenda as well as who votes for which party. People tend to vote for the party that affects their life directly. It's understandable but not always the best choice for the country as a whole. We have a huge problem with Politicians, I have no idea how to fix that other than to revolt and I don't see that we are there....just yet. But if you put these Democrats in office long enough....that time would come sooner than later.

And that right there is why we need more real choices as far as political parties, not just two.

I have always said that and still think that. However, I think that as nonresidential as it is he stirs the pot and brings out the crazies. I think it has worked out to his best interest to a degree.

I'm convinced he thinks before he speaks with precision, making people who can't understand what he's doing thinking that his remarks are "stupid."

And he "stirs the pot" because the Leftocrat "pot" has become so filthy and diabolical. No President in history has come under the level of political assault than President Trump has. But Americans are waking up, which is why he's WINNING.

To counter the insanity, we need a person who will go toe to toe with the Commie Fascists. And that man is Donald Trump.

It has not only worked out to "his" best interest to a "degree", it has worked out to the best interest of America (and therefore the rest of the world) to a spectacularly successful degree.

The thing is, at least the US has been awake for a while. Most conservatives realize that Republicans and Democrats have become virtually the same, because the politicians all have their hands out and they do whatever they are paid to do. They don't work for the voters, they work for big industry. It's why the TEA party was created.

We got very lucky with Trump to find a person who is not interested in taking bribes to do whatever the special interests want. I will be very surprised if there are more coming in the future that will behave like him.

With a typical politician in the White House, America (and our freedom) will continue to fade.

Have you seen the last couple Federal budgets? Insane spending with the Republicans in control of everything. They are left of middle in my world. Middle ground to me is the government budget grows with cost of living. Republicans seem to want it to grow MUCH faster than that.

There's no disputing that many Republicans are RINO's, that much is painfully clear. But Commie Fascocrats have gone so far off the deep end, they even make wishy washy RINO's look like staunch conservatives.

Thankfully, President Trump's election has made it known to the Republican Party that they want someone like him running our nation. Someone who will put up a political fight for traditional American values and not back down.

Regarding the out of control spending, if I had to make the choice between two political party spendthrifts:

a) one of whom is Pro-Life, authentically patriotic, for Law & Order and a strong military
... vs.
b) a horde of anti-Life baby killing, open border, anti-Law enforcement, pro anarchists

Well, it's not even choice. Is it? Nope.

Any true hot rodder who listens to what the D party is spitting out and votes "D" isn't actually a hot rodder. That includes anyone who buys a Mustang and leaves it "stock". Look no further than any D run city, Minneapolis just banned construction of new gas stations and drive through windows within city limits.
