My passenger window just started doing this, but mine does it randomly. It's like it has a mind of its own. Gonna take it to the dealer tomorrow.

Did you get it fixed?
Exactly how mine was, incredibly annoying. Yep turns out the window motor was shorting out and was replaced under warranty.

Mine just started doing this also, did you find out what was causing it since the motor was replaced?

I don't but driver side doesn't drop in time when opening door and catches frame. Prob need to get that looked at before it shatters.

Still no, however I’ve noticed it doesn’t happen when parking in the garage. Washed the car the other day and it started again. Think the issue might be water related.

Maybe the switch is shorting out? Did the dealer replace the switch?

Car was bought back today due to passenger window going up and down on its own and leaking water. Four repair attempts with no luck.
