Wow, OVER 4200LBS?! Pathetic

Anyone who thought this would outperform the C8... hell, anyone who thought this would outperform even the ZL1 1LE... well, it's not looking too bright anymore

Same tires as the GT350, same suspension, but over 400lbs more? Yeah, that's going to be a mess in the corners
It will still kill the Crapmaro zl1,1le

Wont be as good on a road course compared to cars in its price range but this thing is gonna be a straight line brute. Considering the weight of this, it might do 1-2 good laps, car is 3-4 hundred lbs heavier than the 6th gen zl1

This only means ford has a goal of cutting weight out if the next gen mustang (s650 right)?

Wont be as good on a road course compared to cars in its price range but this thing is gonna be a straight line brute. Considering the weight of this, it might do 1-2 good laps, car is 3-4 hundred lbs heavier than the 6th gen zl1

The GT500 track pack car will beat any car made in 2020 in its price range on the road course.

This was going around a couple of months ago and no one took it seriously.

More like a year ago.
That sheet may have been real because the engineers said they were originally shooting for low 700s as far as hp goes.
They upped it most likely because of the Hellcat Redeye and the ZR1.

Theres only so much brakes a car can have, this thing is heavy. A car in this price range that does well on the track is the GT4. New gt500 may have a fast lap or two, but performance will fall off lap after lap.
We already know the gt500 is fast, but it's a straight line car.

The engineers said the GT500 won't heat soak, you can burn through a tank of fuel and it will not lose power.

The brake discs are massive on this car. I imagine there is a lot of weight to be shed if could be fitted with carbon ceramic rotors.

I do remember seeing that. Someone really did break into the "secret files" to get it. The 720hp was bumped to 760 during the delayed release to keep up with the ZR1 755hp. The 500 is still a car to be dealt with on the track.
